Warm greetings to the readers.
Livestock farming, especially dairy cattle rearing, serves as a significant livelihood for rural communities. Cows that calve annually and provide a good yield of milk contribute immensely to the prosperity of farmers.
However, ensuring that cows conceive on time each year poses several challenges. Issues like improper cattle management, fluctuations in climatic conditions, and inadequate or inappropriate feeding practices often lead to persistent fertility problems.
In such cases, herbal remedies can effectively address infertility in dairy cows that have reached their fertile stage but fail to conceive. This simple and natural treatment can greatly benefit dairy farmers.
Ingredients Required for the Herbal Remedy:
- 1 white radish
- 1 leaf of aloe vera
- 4 handfuls of drumstick leaves
- 4 handfuls of climbing spinach (pirandai)
- 4 handfuls of curry leaves
- A small amount of jaggery
- Salt
- Turmeric powder
Preparation and Usage
The treatment should begin on the day the cow reaches its fertile stage or the following day.
- Step 1: For five days, give the cow one radish daily, mixed with salt and jaggery.
- Step 2: For the next four days, provide one leaf of aloe vera daily, mixed with salt and jaggery.
- Step 3: For four days, feed the cow four handfuls of drumstick leaves daily, combined with salt and jaggery.
- Step 4: For the next four days, provide four handfuls of climbing spinach (pirandai) daily, mixed with salt and jaggery.
- Step 5: Finally, for four days, give four handfuls of curry leaves daily, combined with salt, turmeric powder, and jaggery.
By completing this herbal treatment, the cow is more likely to conceive during its next fertile stage, significantly improving the chances of successful reproduction.
