A grand agri expo is set to begin in Tirunelveli on November 22, organized by Pachai Boomi, an agricultural monthly magazine. This large-scale expo will be held on November 22, 23, and 24th (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) at the Centenary Hall in Palayamkottai, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
The Pachai Boomi magazine, which was launched in 2011 with the mission of promoting the growth of agriculture and farmers under the theme “Let the land and life thrive,” continues its efforts in agricultural development. Since October 2021, the magazine has been organizing agri expo across Tamil Nadu to benefit farmers and agricultural enterprises.
Following successful expo in places like Ottanchathiram, Rajapalayam, Theni, Namakkal, Thanjavur, Gobichettipalayam and Pollachi, this will be Pachai Boomi’s 14th agri expo and the third time it is being held in Tirunelveli.
The expo will showcase a variety of agricultural tools and equipments, including seeds, fruit saplings, coconut saplings, fertilizers, tractors, rotavators, pesticide sprayers, drip irrigation systems, sickles, hoes, and ploughs. Government departments such as the Agriculture, Horticulture, Agricultural Engineering, Livestock Care, Silk Development, and Dairy Development will have stalls, along with banks that support agricultural growth.
In addition, there will be stalls for animal feed for livestock like goats, cows, and poultry, as well as stalls raising environmental awareness. Over 100 stalls will be set up, offering a wide range of products.
The exhibition serves as a platform connecting farmers and agricultural businesses, helping both to grow. All farmers, livestock breeders, environmental enthusiasts, students, the general public, and agricultural businesses are invited to participate and benefit from this free-entry event.
